Registering onto your course
Registration is the annual process to become a student of the University of Portsmouth. This gives access to the University’s services and facilities. To register onto your course you are required to:

Complete the online registration form

Produce personal identification (new students only)

Produce valid visa documentation (new and returning international students only)
Once you have completed the online registration form you will receive a confirmation email to your university account which will contain further information on the above processes.

You need your University computer account, username and password details to log in. Please visit port.ac.uk/studentaccount and select 'Get your account for the first time' if you are a new student, or 'Forgotten your password' if you are a continuing student and cannot recall your password.

Once you have submitted the form you will be able to log in and view the information you have submitted but you will NOT be able to update the information. Contact your Department/School if any information changes after you have submitted the form.
NOTE: Username format is UP followed by your Student ID number, eg: UP123456
